Bro. John Ellis Williams ROH, PGP
2000, President Ex Council 2000, President Kts Ch 1993, President ROH Ass 1998.
Brother John was Initiated into the Order on 24th September 1973, Inducted to
the 2nd Degree on 30th June 1975, Installed to the 3rd Degree on 21st November
1983, and Exalted to the 4th Degree on 20th January 1989, all in the Maenofferen
Lodge No 2178, in the North Wales Province.
In 1991 he was a founder member of the Groes Lodge,
now the Oakley Lodge No 10505 in the Cambrian Province, where he remained in
compliance until his death. Bro John travelled far and wide during his Buffallo
career and was highly respected. He will always be remembered for his devotion
and dedication to the Order and the teaching of its principles, together with
that charismatic smile that will live in our memories forever. He departed this
life and passed to the Grand Lodge Above on 31st December 2006 aged 76 years.
Brother John will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
